We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our senior team and lead us to the next level. As Director Sales, you must be a skilled negotiator, able to articulate how the value of the benefits of the solution outweigh the client's objections, and come to a comfortable purchase decision which
delivers business results and is profitable.
You must have experience establishing and strengthening relationships at the "C" level. Previous experience in selling Consulting Services and Information Technology solutions to the Fortune 1000. Experience in "solutions sales". You should have knowledge of technical support help desk and business process outsourcing (BPO) in addition to IT services.
At least 8-10 years of experience and proven track record of sales success, gaining account entry and developing relationships at Senior Executive levels/"C" levels, in large,enterprise accounts (e.g., $200M+ Financial Services accounts in the East Coast area). Aggressive new business development style and strong comfort level in opportunity development and cold calling. Demonstrated leadership in managing long sales cycles, negotiating and closing large, customized deals. Track record of driving new client revenues in excess of $8 million annually.
You must have a good understanding of the IT offshore outsourcing space and an ability to explain the value proposition to prospects and clients.
You will develop business strategy and action plan including the identification of target companies and key contacts. You will present the CyberAds Studio service and product portfolio to key contacts within target organizations and develop the rational for a productive relationship. You will lead the negotiations with client prospects including the identification and discussion of specific terms of a deal and work through senior management to secure a contract. You will maintain key relations with partners and monitor the performance/results of established contracts to insure financial, sales, and marketing objectives are achieved.
You must be a well respected individual with the confidence and ability to influence decision makers. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must have International business and cross-cultural management team experience.
Technical Skills and Devliery Models:
Solid understanding of the software application development and design process. Outstanding selling skills with a track record of closing new business in software project marketing with an emphasis on application development. Knowledge of business process outsourcing (BPO) in addition to IT services. At least 3 years experience outsourced service delivery models. Experience of dealing with the "Onshore-Offshore" model. Familiarity with quality methodologies such as Six Sigma, SEI-CMM, ISO quality standards.
Organizational "Fit" Considerations:
Action-oriented, results-oriented, a "take charge" attitude, strong business case development and closing skills. Strong executive presence and professional image. Thinks quickly on their feet.Must understand the customer service industry and the relationships needed to create significant sales.
A Team Player:
The Director Sales will be someone comfortable in a highly collaborative, team oriented culture. At least 5 years' experience managing a sales team and you must have built a sales team from the ground up at some point in your career (preferably in the last 5 yrs). Excellent time management, communications, decision-making, human relations, presentation and organization skills are needed. You will be working very closely with our executive team to develop the right go to market sales strategy. For a short time you will be also responsible for sales activities such as generating leads, developing marketing materials, organizing direct and indirect sales strategies, developing a hiring plan for future sales individuals.
Must have 6-8 years of experience in a Sales/marketing/business development role
A high degree of comfort with technology, strong analytical ability, ability to work within a team environment and excellent communication skills.
Must have had previous responsibility for closing broad strategic agreements.
Must be able to demonstrate good negotiating skills.
Additional weightage will be given to individuals who have a strong rolodex and established contacts that can be leveraged. Prior experience of helping an Indian company set up its sales operation in US will be desired. Prior exposure in selling staff augmentation will be an added advantage.
Should not be a constraint for the right person and will include A base salary/package (this component will make up approximately 65% of the total remuneration package) + A bonus scheme (this component will make up approximately 35% of the total remuneration package and is uncapped).
